No, you do not need a referral to see a clinical psychologist at CPA. Our goal is to make accessing mental health support as straightforward and accessible as possible.

When you are referred to CPA by your GP, Psychiatrist or Paediatrician, you are accessing our services through the Better Access Initiative. With such a referral, you will be eligible for a Medicare rebate of $141.85 per session. However, if you have met your Medicare Levy requirements, you may qualify for an even higher rebate, thus further reducing your out of pocket expenses.
